Which is better, HIFU or RF?
They do different jobs. HIFU, such as Ultherapy Prime or Shurink, works on the deeper lifting layer and suits a heavier lower face. Is there downtime after laser lifting?
Downtime is usually minimal. You may have mild redness, swelling or tenderness along the jawline for a few days. Most people return to normal activities, including sightseeing, the same day.
When will I see results, and how long do they last?
Some firmness can show soon after, but the main change builds over 1 to 3 months as collagen remodels. Results commonly last several months to around a year, depending on the device, your age and your skin. Many patients plan maintenance sessions.
Does it hurt?
