Eczema Treatment in Busan, Korea A doctor's assessment and a calm, barrier-first plan for dry, itchy, irritated skin
Eczema needs calming, not aggressive treatment. At JRYN Seomyeon a doctor examines your skin in English, works out what is driving the flare and advises on a gentle plan before any in-clinic care.

What can a skin clinic do for eczema?
Eczema (atopic or contact dermatitis) is a long-term inflammatory condition in which a weak skin barrier lets moisture out and irritants in, causing dryness, itching and redness. A clinic visit helps by confirming that it really is eczema, identifying likely triggers, calming the active flare and then supporting barrier repair. It can be controlled well, but it tends to come and go, so the aim is fewer and milder flares rather than a one-time cure.
At JRYN Seomyeon, Dr. Kim examines your skin first and decides what fits: flare control comes first, and gentle soothing care such as LED or hydration-focused treatment is only added when the skin is calm. There is no fixed eczema price; your doctor confirms the plan and cost at consultation.

Eczema or something else? Why diagnosis matters
Several conditions look similar but need different care.
| Condition | Typical look | What usually helps |
|---|---|---|
| Eczema | Dry, itchy, rough patches, often in skin folds | Barrier repair, trigger control and flare treatment |
| Sensitive skin | Stinging or redness with products, without lasting patches | Simplifying skincare and gentle soothing care |
| Rosacea | Persistent central facial redness, flushing, sometimes bumps | Trigger control and vascular treatments when calm |
| Dry, dehydrated skin | Tight, dull, flaky skin without strong itching | Hydration and moisturizing routine |
Only a doctor examining your skin can tell these apart reliably.

Eczema Treatment FAQ
Still have questions? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer in English.
Can eczema be cured?
Eczema usually cannot be cured permanently, but it can be controlled well. With trigger control, a good moisturizing routine and early treatment of flares, most people have fewer and milder episodes.
How much does eczema treatment cost at JRYN?
There is no fixed eczema price, because care depends on what the doctor finds. Dr. Kim confirms the plan and any treatment cost at your consultation before anything is done.
Can laser or peels help eczema?
Not during a flare. Strong peels, scrubs and aggressive lasers can worsen inflamed skin. Gentle soothing care such as LED may be considered once the skin is calm, and the doctor decides when that is safe.
What triggers eczema flares?
Common triggers include dry air, heat and sweat, hot showers, harsh cleansers, fragrance, wool or rough fabrics, stress and certain allergens. Flares often appear when travelling between climates.
Is facial eczema treated differently?
Yes. Facial and eyelid skin is thin and sensitive, so gentler products and shorter courses of treatment are usually preferred. Always tell the doctor what you already use on your face.
Can I have other skin treatments if I have eczema?
Often yes, but timing matters. Treatments are best done when the eczema is quiet, and the doctor will avoid areas that are active. Mention your eczema at every consultation.
When should I see a doctor urgently?
Seek medical care quickly if the skin is weeping, crusted, very painful or spreading fast, or if you have a fever. These can be signs of infection that needs prompt treatment.
