Are salmon boosters the same as Rejuran?
Rejuran is the best-known salmon booster. Salmon booster is the general name for skin boosters made from salmon-derived polynucleotides (PN), and Rejuran is the PN brand JRYN uses.
What is the difference between PN and PDRN?
Both come from salmon DNA. PDRN is made of shorter fragments and is usually used in thinner, lighter treatments, while PN is made of longer chains that stay in the skin a little longer. Your doctor will suggest which suits your skin.
Do salmon boosters hurt?
Numbing cream is applied first, so most people feel small pricks and some pressure. The under-eye area and thin skin can feel more sensitive, and HB Plus is often chosen for extra comfort.
