Facial Redness Treatment in Busan, Korea Finding out why your face is red, then calming it with the right laser, medical care or barrier repair
Red cheeks can come from rosacea, visible vessels, leftover acne marks or an irritated skin barrier, and each needs a different plan. At JRYN Seomyeon, Dr. Kim diagnoses the cause first , then matches the treatment and confirms the price before you start.

How do you get rid of facial redness?
Start by finding the cause, because the treatment depends on it. Redness from widened blood vessels, such as rosacea or broken capillaries, usually responds best to a vascular laser, which targets the blood in the vessels. Red marks left after acne also fade faster with a vascular laser. Redness from an irritated or damaged skin barrier, eczema or a reaction to products needs calming care and medical treatment instead, and lasers may wait until the skin settles.
At JRYN Seomyeon, the vascular lasers listed are Excel V at ₩99,000 and Vbeam Perfecta at ₩200,000 per session. Dr. Kim decides whether you need a laser at all, which one, and how many sessions, and confirms the total at consultation.
What is causing your redness ?
Different causes look similar in the mirror. This is how the doctor tells them apart and what usually helps.
| Cause | What it looks like | What usually helps |
|---|---|---|
| Rosacea | Flushing and lasting redness on cheeks and nose, sometimes bumps | Vascular laser plus medical care and trigger control |
| Broken capillaries | Fine red lines, often around the nose | Vascular laser, often in one to a few sessions |
| Post-acne redness | Flat pink or red marks where spots were | Vascular laser, plus acne control |
| Irritated barrier | Redness with stinging, dryness or flaking after products or treatments | Stop irritants, barrier repair, calming care |
| Eczema or dermatitis | Itchy, dry, rough red patches | Medical treatment first; lasers are not the main answer |
Only a doctor can confirm the cause. Some redness comes from other conditions, which is why the first visit is a diagnosis, not a treatment.

Facial Redness Treatment FAQ
Still have questions? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer in English.
How much does redness treatment cost in Busan?
At JRYN Seomyeon, Excel V is listed at ₩99,000 per session and Vbeam Perfecta at ₩200,000 per session. Most redness needs a few sessions, so Dr. Kim confirms the laser, the number of sessions and the total after diagnosing the cause.
Why is my face always red?
Common causes are rosacea, widened blood vessels (broken capillaries), red marks after acne, an irritated skin barrier and eczema or dermatitis. Sun damage, heat, alcohol and harsh skin care can make any of these worse. Because the causes look alike, a doctor's diagnosis is the most reliable first step.
Can a laser remove facial redness permanently?
A vascular laser can greatly reduce redness and close visible vessels, and treated vessels usually do not come back. New vessels and flushing can still develop over time, especially with rosacea or lots of sun, so many people need occasional maintenance. Sun protection and avoiding your triggers help results last.
How many laser sessions do I need for redness?
Fine vessels may fade after one or two sessions, while diffuse redness or rosacea often needs around three to five, a few weeks apart. Red acne marks also usually improve over a short course. Your doctor estimates the number after seeing your skin.
Is there downtime after a redness laser?
Usually it is short. Expect warmth, pinkness and slight swelling for a day or two. Stronger settings can occasionally cause small bruises that fade within about a week. Most people wear makeup the next day; your doctor will tell you if you should wait.
Can I treat redness if I have sensitive skin?
Yes, but the order matters. If your skin is stinging, peeling or reacting, the first step is to calm it and repair the barrier, and lasers come later. Gentle cleansing, a simple moisturizer and daily sunscreen often reduce redness noticeably on their own.
Should I have IPL or a vascular laser for redness?
Both target redness, but vascular lasers such as Excel V and Vbeam Perfecta are more focused on blood vessels, while IPL is a broader light treatment that also addresses brown spots. The doctor chooses based on whether your redness comes with pigment and how your skin reacts. Read our IPL photofacial guide.
Can I get redness treatment as a visitor?
Yes. A laser session is short and downtime is usually minimal, so it fits a trip. If you need several sessions, the doctor can plan the first one now and suggest how to continue care at home. Message us on WhatsApp with photos and your dates.
