Antioxidant Injections in Busan, Korea Vitamin C and glutathione drips for tired, dull-looking skin, explained without the hype
Antioxidant injections are supportive care: they can help you feel refreshed and help skin look less tired, especially after travel, stress or poor sleep. They are not a cure for fatigue or a substitute for sunscreen . At JRYN Seomyeon, Dr. Yoon screens your health before choosing a formula.

What do antioxidant injections do?
Antioxidant injections deliver nutrients such as vitamin C and glutathione directly into the bloodstream, usually by IV drip. Antioxidants help neutralise free radicals, the unstable molecules produced by UV exposure, pollution, stress and normal metabolism, which contribute to dull skin and visible ageing. Many people feel refreshed afterwards and notice skin looks brighter for a while. The effect is supportive and temporary, and the evidence for long-term benefits in healthy people is limited.
At JRYN Seomyeon, antioxidant care is offered within the Whitening Care package at ₩190,000 , which combines a glutathione IV (Baekok) and vitamin C with LDM (12 minutes), oxygen toning, LED and a pack. Other formulas are priced at consultation after Dr. Yoon Jung-wook reviews your health history.

How much are antioxidant injections in Busan?
At JRYN Seomyeon, antioxidant care is included in the Whitening Care package at ₩190,000, which combines a glutathione IV and vitamin C with LDM, oxygen toning, LED and a pack. Standalone drips and other formulas are priced at consultation after the doctor’s health check.
Do antioxidant injections slow ageing?
There is no good evidence that antioxidant drips alone slow skin ageing. Daily sunscreen, not smoking, good sleep and proven treatments such as retinoids and lasers matter much more. Drips are best seen as supportive care that can help skin look fresher for a while.
What is the difference between an injection and a drip?
An intramuscular injection is quick and delivers a small dose. An IV drip takes longer but can deliver larger amounts with fluids, which is why most antioxidant and brightening treatments in Korea are given as drips.
Will I feel more energetic afterwards?
Some people feel refreshed, especially if they were dehydrated or tired from travel, but the effect varies and is usually short-lived. If you feel exhausted most of the time, it is worth having a medical check to find the cause.
Are antioxidant drips safe?
When given by a doctor after a health check, serious side effects are uncommon. Possible effects include bruising, a cold feeling in the arm, nausea and, rarely, allergic reactions. Some conditions, such as kidney disease or G6PD deficiency, make certain ingredients unsuitable.
How often can I have an antioxidant drip?
It depends on the formula and your health. Many people have sessions every one to four weeks during a course, then less often. The doctor sets a safe interval for you.
Can I have one after a long flight to Busan?
Yes. Many visitors book a drip early in their trip when they feel tired from travel, and it fits easily alongside a facial. Bring a list of your medications and message us on WhatsApp to book.
