Dry & Dehydrated Skin Treatment in Busan, Korea Hydrating facials, skin boosters and barrier care for tight, flaky or dull skin
Dry skin lacks oil; dehydrated skin lacks water. Many people have both, and the fix is different for each. At JRYN Seomyeon a doctor checks which one you have and confirms the plan and price before treatment .

What is the difference between dry and dehydrated skin?
Dry skin is a skin type: it makes too little oil, so it feels rough, flaky or tight all over, often for years. Dehydrated skin is a condition: it lacks water, even if it is oily, and shows as dullness, fine crisscross lines and tightness that comes and goes with weather, flights, air conditioning or harsh cleansing. Dry skin needs barrier repair and richer moisture. Dehydrated skin needs water held in the skin, which is where hydrating boosters help.
At JRYN Seomyeon, options include Rejuran Skin Booster from ₩40,000 per cc , HydraFacial from ₩110,000, LDM at ₩100,000 and Skinvive at ₩400,000 for 2 cc. Dr. Kim examines your skin and confirms the plan at consultation.
Dry vs dehydrated skin
| Dry skin | Dehydrated skin | |
|---|---|---|
| What is missing | Oil (lipids) | Water |
| Skin type or condition? | Skin type, long-term | Temporary condition, any skin type |
| Typical signs | Flaking, roughness, tightness all over | Dullness, fine lines, tightness, sometimes oily too |
| Common triggers | Genetics, age, cold dry weather | Flights, air conditioning, harsh cleansers, alcohol |
| In-clinic help | Barrier-calming care, LDM, gentle facials | Hydrating boosters such as Skinvive or Rejuran, HydraFacial |
| At home | Richer creams with ceramides, gentle cleanser | Humectant serums, fewer actives, more water |

Dry & Dehydrated Skin FAQ
Still have questions? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer in English.
What is the best treatment for dehydrated skin?
Hydrating skin boosters, such as Skinvive or Rejuran, help skin hold water for weeks, while a HydraFacial gives an immediate boost with no downtime. Many people combine the two. The doctor recommends one based on how dry and sensitive your skin is.
How much do hydration treatments cost at JRYN?
Rejuran Skin Booster is listed from ₩40,000 per cc, HydraFacial from ₩110,000 (2 Step), LDM at ₩100,000 per 12-minute session and Skinvive at ₩400,000 for 2 cc. The doctor confirms the total at consultation.
Why does my skin get so dry when I travel?
Cabin air is very dry, and changes in climate, hotel air conditioning and different water can all strip moisture. A gentle cleanser, a humectant serum and a richer cream help, and a hydrating facial after a long flight is a popular choice.
Can oily skin be dehydrated?
Yes. Oily skin can still lack water, and harsh oil-control products often make it worse. Signs include shine with tightness, dullness and fine lines. Hydration, not more stripping, is usually the answer.
Is there downtime?
HydraFacial and LDM have no downtime. Skin boosters can leave small bumps or redness for a day or so, and occasionally a small bruise.
How many sessions will I need?
A facial gives a same-day result, but boosters work best as a short course, often two or three sessions a few weeks apart. A single session still helps, which suits visitors on a short trip.
Could my dry skin be eczema?
If dryness comes with itching, redness, cracking or rash, it may be eczema or dermatitis. That needs a medical assessment rather than a facial. Tell the doctor at consultation.
