Hydration Therapy in Busan, Korea A doctor-planned IV drip of fluids, electrolytes and vitamins for travel fatigue and run-down days
Long flights, heat, late nights and busy sightseeing days can leave you drained. At JRYN Seomyeon, a doctor checks your health first , then chooses the fluids and vitamins for your drip. You rest in the chair while it runs.

What is hydration therapy?
Hydration IV therapy is a drip that delivers a saline-based fluid, often with electrolytes and vitamins such as B vitamins and vitamin C, straight into a vein. Because it bypasses the stomach, the fluid is absorbed quickly, which some people find helpful after a long flight, a hot day or a period of poor sleep and eating. It supports how you feel in the short term; it does not replace drinking water, a balanced diet or medical care for illness.
At JRYN Seomyeon, a doctor reviews your health, medication and allergies before choosing the formula. A standalone hydration drip has no fixed listed price, so the cost is confirmed at consultation. If you mainly want hydrated, glowing skin, a clinic facial or skin booster may suit you better than an IV.

Hydration IV Therapy FAQ
Still have questions? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer in English.
How much does hydration IV therapy cost at JRYN?
A standalone hydration drip does not have a fixed listed price at JRYN Seomyeon, because the formula is chosen after a health check. The doctor confirms the drip and its price before it starts. For reference, the listed Whitening Care package is ₩190,000 and includes a glutathione IV, vitamin C, LDM, oxygen toning, LED and a pack.
How long does a hydration IV take?
Most hydration drips take around 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the volume and what is added. Add time for the health check before and a short rest after. Tell us your schedule and we can plan around it.
Does hydration IV therapy help with jet lag?
It can help you feel less drained after a long flight, mainly by replacing fluid and adding vitamins. It does not reset your body clock, so daylight, sleep timing and drinking water still matter most. See our jet lag IV page for a drip planned around travel.
Is an IV drip safe?
For healthy adults screened by a doctor, a hydration drip is generally low risk. Possible effects include a bruise, soreness or rarely irritation at the needle site, and allergic reactions are rare. It is not suitable for everyone, especially people with heart or kidney conditions, which is why the doctor checks your health first.
Will a hydration IV make my skin more hydrated?
Not much, on its own. Being well hydrated supports how skin looks, but dry or dehydrated skin usually needs treatment in the skin itself, such as a skin booster or a hydrating facial. If glowing skin is your goal, ask about SkinVive or the Moisture Care package instead of, or alongside, an IV.
Can I combine an IV with other treatments on the same day?
Usually, yes. Many visitors pair a drip with a facial, LDM or laser treatment in one visit. The doctor checks the order and whether the combination suits you.
Is hydration IV therapy a medical treatment?
It is given by medical staff at a dermatology clinic, but in this setting it is a wellness drip, not a treatment for illness. If you have vomiting, fever, severe dizziness or cannot keep fluids down, please go to a hospital or emergency department rather than a clinic.
