Chemical Peels in Busan, Korea Medical-grade peels for clogged pores, breakouts, dullness and uneven tone
A chemical peel uses an acid solution to loosen dead skin and clear the pores, so fresher skin comes through. At JRYN Seomyeon the doctor chooses the acid and strength for your skin type , so you get a visible refresh without more peeling than you bargained for.

What does a chemical peel do for your skin?
A chemical peel applies an exfoliating acid, such as glycolic (AHA) or salicylic (BHA) acid, that dissolves the bonds holding dead skin cells together. Superficial peels used in dermatology clinics help unclog pores, calm breakouts, soften rough texture and brighten dull or uneven skin. Most people have mild redness or light flaking for a few days rather than dramatic peeling.
At JRYN Seomyeon, Dr. Kim Ji-young checks your skin type, sensitivity and current skincare before choosing the peel. The peel and price are confirmed at consultation. If you want a gentler, no-downtime option, Aqua Peel is listed at ₩50,000 for the complete three steps.

Chemical Peels FAQ
Still have questions? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer in English.
Does a chemical peel make your skin peel?
Not always. The superficial peels most often used in clinics usually cause redness for a few hours and, at most, light flaking for a few days. Visible sheet peeling is more typical of stronger peels, which need more downtime.
How much is a chemical peel at JRYN?
The price depends on the peel your doctor chooses, so it is confirmed at consultation before treatment. For comparison, JRYN lists Aqua Peel at ₩50,000 for the complete three steps, the Pore Care program at ₩150,000 and HydraFacial from ₩110,000.
Which chemical peel is best for acne?
Salicylic acid (BHA) peels are often chosen for oily, acne-prone skin because they dissolve oil inside the pores. Your doctor may combine a peel with extractions or LED. Deep or cystic acne usually needs medical treatment as well.
How many peels do I need?
A single peel gives a fresher look, but for breakouts, texture or tone a course of sessions a few weeks apart usually works better. Your doctor suggests a plan based on your skin and how long you are in Busan.
Can a chemical peel help pigmentation?
Mild peels can brighten dull skin and help fade light marks. For sun spots, freckles or melasma, lasers such as pico toning are often more effective, and some pigment can darken if the skin is irritated. Your doctor advises which approach is safer for you.
What should I avoid after a chemical peel?
Avoid strong sun, saunas, scrubs and retinoid or acid skincare for several days, or as your doctor advises. Use a gentle cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen every day. Do not pick at flaking skin.
Can I have a chemical peel on holiday in Busan?
Yes, light peels fit a short trip because downtime is short. Avoid scheduling a beach day or heavy sun straight after. Tell your doctor your plans so the peel strength suits your trip.
