PRP Therapy in Busan, Korea Platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, used to support skin repair, texture and glow
PRP uses a small sample of your own blood, concentrated and returned to the skin. At JRYN Seomyeon a doctor checks whether it suits your skin, and confirms the plan and price before you start .

What is PRP therapy for the skin?
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy takes a small amount of your blood, spins it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, and puts that plasma back into the skin by fine injections or with microneedling. Platelets carry growth factors that support the skin’s own repair, so the aim is gradual improvement in texture, fine lines, tone and overall skin quality rather than an instant change.
At JRYN Seomyeon, PRP is not on the published price menu, so your doctor confirms the price once the area and delivery method are planned. The doctor may also suggest pairing it with, or comparing it against, skin boosters such as Rejuran.

PRP Therapy FAQ
Still have questions? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer in English.
What does PRP therapy do for the skin?
PRP supports the skin’s own repair process using growth factors from your platelets. People mainly use it for dull skin, rough texture, fine lines and mild acne scarring. Change is gradual and subtle, and results vary from person to person.
How much does PRP therapy cost at JRYN?
PRP is not on JRYN’s published price list. The price depends on the area and whether it is injected or combined with microneedling, so your doctor confirms the total at consultation before anything starts. You can ask for a quote on WhatsApp first.
Does PRP hurt?
There is a standard blood draw and then fine injections or microneedling. Numbing cream is used where appropriate, and most people describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful. Under-eye skin tends to feel more sensitive.
Is there downtime after PRP?
Expect redness, mild swelling and small bumps or pinpoint marks for about 1–3 days, and possible bruising where injections were placed. Most people go back to normal activities the next day. Avoid makeup on treated skin for the rest of the day.
How many PRP sessions do I need?
PRP usually works best as a short course spaced a few weeks apart rather than a single session. Your doctor recommends the number based on your skin and goals. If you are only in Busan briefly, ask whether one session or a different treatment makes more sense.
PRP or Rejuran: which is better?
They work differently. PRP uses your own plasma, while Rejuran is a PDRN skin booster with a fixed, listed price (Healer 1 cc ₩100,000 at JRYN). Your doctor can compare both for your skin. See Rejuran Healer.
Who should not have PRP?
PRP is not suitable if you have a blood or platelet disorder, an active infection in the area, or are pregnant or being treated for cancer. Tell your doctor about blood thinners and supplements, as they can increase bruising.
Can I have PRP as a visitor to Busan?
Yes. A single session fits into one visit to JRYN in Seomyeon, 8 minutes from Seomyeon Station Exit 2. Plan a few days before photos or flights in case of bruising, and tell your doctor your travel dates.
