Clinic Guide FAQ
Still have questions? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer in English.
What should I prepare before visiting a skin clinic in Korea?
Bring a short list of your concerns and goals, any medications you take, allergies, and the names and dates of past treatments such as fillers or lasers. Know your flight date too, because some treatments need a few days for swelling or redness to settle before you travel.
Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. At JRYN Seomyeon a doctor sees every patient first, in English, to check your skin, face and health and to decide whether a treatment suits you. The doctor also confirms the dose, product and total price before you agree.
Can I have treatment on the same day as my consultation?
Often, yes. Many injectables, lasers, lifting devices and facials can be done on the same day if the doctor agrees they are suitable. Tell us your travel dates when you message so the plan fits your schedule.
Are Korean skin treatments surgical?
Most are not. Botox, fillers, skin boosters, lasers, ultrasound and RF lifting, and facials are non-surgical. Thread lifts use fine needles or cannulas under local anaesthetic, without surgical incisions.
How much downtime should I expect?
It depends on the treatment. Facials such as Aqua Peel, LDM and HydraFacial have none. Injectables can cause mild swelling or bruising for a few days. Resurfacing lasers such as CO2 can mean a week of redness and peeling, so plan those early in your trip.
Can I combine several treatments in one visit?
Yes, if your skin and health allow it. Common combinations include Botox with a skin booster, or a lifting device with a facial. The doctor decides the order and spacing so treatments do not interfere with each other.
When is JRYN Seomyeon open?
Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10:30–20:00, Wednesday and Thursday 10:30–19:00, and Saturday 10:30–14:30. Weekday lunch is 13:00–14:30. The clinic is closed on Sundays and Korean public holidays.
How do I find the clinic?
JRYN is on the 4th floor of Samjeong Tower, 672 Jungang-daero, Busanjin-gu. It is an 8-minute walk from Seomyeon Station Exit 2 on subway Lines 1 and 2, or 3 minutes from Exit 16 of the Seomyeon underground shopping mall.
